DES Celebrates Earth Day 2015
In celebration of Earth Day 2015, Trillian, Chris, and Chris joined ASCE East Central Branch and the City of Orlando's Keep Orlando Beautiful to help restore a portion of the Lake Baldwin shoreline.
Founded in 1987, the Keep Orlando Beautiful program is administered by the City of Orlando’s Streets and Stormwater Division of the Public Works Department. They have accomplished many worthwhile projects including education programs, public space, event recycling bin implementation, and community cleanup and beautification events.
Together we planted over 2,000 native wetland plants before cooling off at Gator's Dockside on Lake Baldwin.
